No. We will work with your agent if you wish, but we intend to establish one-on-one relationships with our authors.

Do you accept previously published works?

No. We also do not accept more than one manuscript per author at a time.

Do you accept work from unpublished writers?

We love unpublished writers. As you'll see in our submissions requirements, it's not about having dozens of published works. It's about having a great story and a willingness and desire to tell the world about it.

Novellas must be no shorter than 20,000 words and no longer than 50,000 words.

Do you require exclusive submissions?

No. We encourage you to submit to other publishers, seek agents, or whatever works for you. We want you to find the right publisher for you. The only way to know is to test the waters.

Are you a vanity press?

Absolutely not. We do not charge fees for any of our services. All authors that contract with us are paid royalties based on the sales of their books. We work with our authors before, during, and after the launch of their novels, again, at no cost to them. Our goal is the growth of an author's career. If they are successful, we are successful.

Am I going to have to do marketing?

Yes you are. Now as the jitters take over, let us say one thing: Marketing isn't scary when you have a detailed plan in place. We have a plan for us and a plan for you! Every one of our books follows a 6–8 month release cycle. We provide to you, and follow our own, pre-launch marketing program, a launch week program and a 6-month post-launch program.

Will I retain my copyright?

Without a doubt, yes. You will always retain the copyright to your work. We will simply license it for a specific period of time.

I'm really ready to submit, what do I do?

We're so glad you asked! We have a rather unique submission process. It's all detailed here: Submissions
